Looking for the perfect designer smile? Transform your smile with Emax Porcelain Veneers in London with our Harley Street dental experts.

Porcelain Veneer treatment is one the most popular cosmetic treatments available at our Harley Street clinic due to its ability to easily transform a smile. Porcelain Veneers hide numerous dental issues such as stubbornly stained teeth, cracked or chipped teeth, unsightly gaps and uneven tooth size and shape. A Porcelain Veneer smile makeover is a great way to whiten and even out your smile quickly and cost-effectively.

What are Porcelain Veneers?

Here at Pro Dental Clinic, the dentists use Emax Porcelain Veneers, all hand crafted and created in the Pro Dental lab. Emax Porcelain Veneers are made using a super strong and durable type of porcelain which allows for an ultra-thin Porcelain Veneer that doesn’t compromise on quality or strength. This means that our veneer specialists only need to remove a very minimal amount of the natural tooth’s surface to complete your Emax Veneer smile makeover.

When fitting the veneers, the porcelain shell-like layer is placed directly onto the surface of your natural tooth. To secure the veneers, a small amount of the tooth’s surface is removed (usually less than 1mm), ensuring that the veneer layer sits flush with the rest of your teeth. Once your natural teeth have been prepped and your veneers have been fitted, you have your brand new smile for life. Because of this natural tooth reduction, Porcelain Emax Veneers are not considered a reversible form of treatment.

How long will my Porcelain Emax Veneers last?

The Pro Dental Emax Porcelain Veneers last 20+ years. Aftercare guidelines are provided to all of our veneer patients detailing how to care for your new smile which will include things to avoid and ways to ensure prolonged quality. While the veneer itself is man-made, your living teeth underneath and the gum tissue surrounding the veneers may change e.g. gum shrinking. If in the rare case that one of your porcelain veneers comes off, it can generally be re-bonded. If it chips, it can generally be re-bonded or otherwise replaced.

Do Porcelain Emax veneers stain from tea, coffee or wine?

Porcelain Veneers are stain resistant, so drinking things like tea, coffee and red wine will not affect the brightness or colour of your new smile. This means you won’t need to make any drastic lifestyle changes to preserve the colour of your Emax Veneers.

Will my dental insurance cover Porcelain Emax veneers?

This is dependant on the type of insurance you have as well as the provider. Every patient who is hoping to use insurance to cover the cost of their Emax Veneer treatment will need to speak with their provider before accepting treatment to understand the coverage they are entitled to.

Will I get cavities and tooth decay with my Porcelain Emax Veneers?

There is no higher risk of decay to your natural teeth provided you regularly floss and brush your teeth as normal. In general, it is good dental advice to keep your sugar consumption low and confined to meal times to prevent decay. You will be expected to attend hygiene appointments every 6 months to ensure you are keeping your oral hygiene and health to a high standard.
