How do All-on-4 dental implants work?
Sometimes referred to as Teeth in a Day or Same Day Smile, All-on-4 dental implants is a specialist procedure used to reconstruct your smile in one day. There are varied options available, depending on your needs, where the dentist can replace one or both arches with implants and a fixed bridge. The best part about this treatment is that it is conducted in one visit meaning your never without teeth.
The All-on-4 procedure is conducted under anaesthetic where our highly skilled dentists place 4-6 implants strategically into the jawbone upon which new teeth are attached. These will either be in the form of a temporary denture of a fixed non-removable denture depending on the health of your jaw and bone. Our team uses a combination of extensive diagnostics, treatment planning and precision-guided surgery in order to create your dream smile.
Whilst your mouth recovers from the surgery, the specialist at the Pro Dental Lab will be developing your final fixed hybrid. When ready, we will invite you back into the Pro Dental Implant Clinic to fit your permanent new teeth!

Step 1
Your All-on-Four journey starts with a simple consultation where our dental experts will examine your oral health and take x-rays of your teeth and gums. After listening to your goals and what you’re looking to achieve, the implant surgeon will explain the treatment options available to you and talk you through the process.
Step 2
On the day of your surgery, our friendly and reassuring team will welcome you into our dedicated implant clinic to meet with your dentist.
Step 3
The implant surgery will be carried out under anaesthetic so you will feel no pain. We can also provide sedation options should this make you more comfortable. The procedure itself will be carried out within a few hours.
Step 4
After the procedure, you will relax for as long as you need in a dedicated recovery room specially designed for quiet comfort.
Step 5
On the evening of your surgery, we’ll offer you a paid overnight stay at the Durrants Hotel. Our Reception team will organise a chauffeur from a premium London Taxi service to pick you up from the hotel on the day of your implant treatment. Alternatively if you would rather stay at home before or after the treatment we will arrange your transportation.
Step 6
You will be fitted with a temporary set of teeth so that you leave our practice with a completed smile on the same day!
Step 7
You will be provided with a week’s worth of specially prepared nutritious and soft food from Alimento which is designed to help you eat whilst your mouth heals.

Dr Edoardo is an Italian dentist with a strong focus on implantology and oral surgery. Having been in private dental practice in the USA and having a special interest in Prosthodontics, for over 23 years, Jiten brings a wealth of dental knowledge and experience to ProDental. Along with spending time with his family, in his spare time, he tries to stay fit and healthy, is a keen badminton player and golfer, both of which could benefit from more practice! As a keen photographer, he likes to travel places where he can capture images that inspire and create awe in its beholders. More practice wouldn’t hurt that as well!
